What's The Revolution Smile up to...

July 2003:
Be sure to pick up a copy or two of Above The Noise on the 29th! It'll be sure to rock like no other. I promise.
Also, the brand new official site is up and running so be sure to check that out for all your rev smile needs. You'll be able to find the latest info over there, and as I've said earlier this site will remain up for the stuff it still has. The old old photos will all be back up soon. But all the late-breaking rev smile news, the official site will be your guide.
So in a nutshell:
- go buy new album
- check out new official site
- the rev smile is on tour...go rock with them
- check back here for return of photos
Okay, that's all for now I think. Thanks for reading!

May 2003:
Check out the Revolution Smile Media Player. You can listen to Bonethrower and Cadillac Ass, as well as the Rev Smile EPK with inverviews of the band. It's good stuff, so go check it out and email it to your friends.
Also, the old photos will be up in the near future, so keep checking back. Thanks.

May 2002:
Media page now added to the site...check it out. Interviews, articles, and reviews are linked there. More to come later.
The Sunset Alliance compilation called "Not One Red Light: A Desert Extended" will be available May 28th. The Revolution Smile will contribute "The Gift" to the disc along with several great bands. Check out their website for details.
All the photos are now up and working. Some have been moved to an online photo album, but the links on the photo page all work. Also, another set of photos have been added. Check them out.
I'm putting together a little Media page where there will be links to online articles, reviews, or interviews that are available...so keep a lookout for that.

April 2002:
The band signing with Flawless Records got a mention at MTVNews.com, so click the link to check it out.
Check out this e-card for the Puddle Of Mudd tour. It includes The Revolution Smile toward the end...pretty cool. Click here for it.
The band sets out for the month long tour this month, so be sure to check them out live if you can. First time touring outside of California.

March 2002:
Well, hopefully you all got to hear Shaun's interview at www.totalrock.com. It lasted about 20 minutes and got some quick basic topics discussed. Shaun said that the band looks to start recording songs for a brand new album possibly in July. No producer chosen yet. Also, it was said that there was a good chance for a trip over to the UK in the near future. The Buddyhead/Flawless issue was of course discussed, and Shaun cleared up most of that. There is a lot more to it than the mere emergence of interest from Flawless. Anyway, a good quick interview...and keep requesting those songs for the band, even if it's online. Spread the rock.
Shaun will be doing a live interview over at www.totalrock.com on Monday, the 18th at 2:30 PST. Also The Revolution Smile is band of the week over there, so be sure to check out that site for the interview. In other news, it's official, the new album will not be released by Buddyhead for various reasons other than the Flawless dealings. The album will be out soon though, so keep your eyes peeled.
Check out an article about the situation here.
Huge News!! As most of you may know, the band has signed with Flawless/Interscope Records and will be finally able to go on tour and spread the rock to new territories. This is great news and I'm exited for the band. They'll have the chance to finally play for crowds outside of California, and are now in a great position to keep making some great music. They'll be touring with Puddle Of Mudd in April, and when they get back they'll be looking forward to recording some new music. Check out the note from Shaun on the official site.
Also, keep on the lookout for the official release date of "We Are In This Alone" for sometime this month or April..it's gonna rock.

February 2002:
The band will be doing an In-Station radio interview on 98 Rock Local Licks at 11:30pm on February 10th...Check it out if you can!

January 2002:
Head on over to www.Buddyhead.com and check out a track called "New Light" from the upcoming album. Just click on the Rev Smile banner on the main page and enjoy...it's great.
Ok, so many of the photos from shows may not be working for awhile. I need to find a new place to host them, so I can remote link them to the site. If you have suggestions email me.

Click here for a nice new review of The Revolution Smile. Also, for you UK people, The Revolution Smile is supposedly in the January 2002 issue of Rock Sound. So check it out if you can.
